Most Affordable Michelin Restaurants in Paris

If you’re heading to Paris this summer, you’re probably overwhelmed with restaurant choices. Paris is a city full of amazing restaurants, including some of the most affordable Michelin restaurants.

I’ve spent a lot of time exploring all of the sights in Paris so my recent visit was all about eating incredible food. After some research, I chose two Michelin star restaurants that offer sensational three-course weekday lunch menus at affordable prices.

Restaurant du Palais Royal, 110 Galerie de Valois, Le Palais Royal

This gorgeous restaurant is in the garden of the Palais Royal. If you’re there on a warm, sunny day, you’ll love sitting under the awnings like we did. Every single thing we ate was beyond our wildest imagination. My husband was extremely skeptical of one of his dishes and hasn’t stopped raving about it since. I believe it was beef tartare with eggplant mousse, neither of which he normally likes to eat. Wonderful wines, attentive service, beautiful setting and incredible food.

Saturne, 17 Rue Notre Dame des Victoires, 2nd Arr.

After all of the delicious meals we enjoyed all over Paris, our lunch at Saturne did not disappoint either. We ended up ordering both choices of each lunch course again and loved it all. The restaurant draws a mix of mostly locals, some business people and a few tourists. Incredible lunch menu of amazing food, great service and a modern, beautiful space.

You’ll want to set aside a couple of hours to fully enjoy these restaurants. It’ll be the perfect way to break up your day while sightseeing! We leisurely walked around different neighborhoods to take in the sights before and after our lunches and opted for low-key, smaller dinners.

If you’re in Paris during the summer months, pack a picnic and grab some wine to enjoy an evening by the Seine like the Parisians do.

I suggest you dine at these restaurants without the kids like we did, but if your kids are super adventurous eaters, you could take them along. The lunch menus offer two choices for each course with options like beef tartare and octopus salad.
